UDAF Soma Experimental Hypothesis Policy

A hypothesis may be tested, but must not be presented as fact before sufficient reproducible evidence exists.

Unconventional physiological, environmental or biosomatic hypotheses, exploratory devices, field-based concepts and historical ideas such as orgone-related concepts may be examined only with an explicit EXPERIMENTAL label and a testable framing. This is not an endorsement of their mechanism or efficacy.

1. State the claim precisely
2. Separate observation from the proposed mechanism
3. Identify the evidence already available
4. Identify alternative explanations
5. Define measurable outcomes
6. State what result would count against the hypothesis
7. Describe potential confounders
8. Use blinded or control conditions where appropriate
9. Replicate before drawing broad conclusions
10. Do not market unvalidated methods as treatment
